The ‘Screen Door’ Approach to Value-based Design - Leveraging New HSA Guidance and Beyond

The webinar will discuss how new guidance issued by the IRS on how HSA compatible high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) may now maintain their HDHP status and offer pre-deductible coverage of a range of items and services for managing chronic care conditions. This will be discussed within a “Screen Door“ value-based insurance design framework in order to reduce barriers to higher value care and discourage low value care leading to improved health while managing healthcare costs.
