Randa Deaton is the Corporate Director of the UAW/Ford Community Healthcare Initiative in Louisville, Kentucky and the Co-Executive Director of the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative (KHC). She has over 20 years of experience leading organizational change and development within human resources and healthcare benefits at Ford Motor Company. In her current role, she is responsible for building, leading, collaborating, and aligning multiple key healthcare stakeholders to drive innovative, systemic improvements to health status and healthcare delivery in the community. She was an early builder of the KHC and is responsible for oversight and strategic planning. Most notably, she has lead the development and implementation of Kentucky and Southern Indiana’s only multi-payer annual quality reports to providers and consumers. She has written and managed a number of grants dedicated to improving community health on topics including chronic disease management, healthcare transformation, healthcare transparency, worksite wellness, diabetes management, colorectal cancer screening, youth mental health, and opioid use disorder. The KHC is a non-profit coalition committed to supporting and leading multi-stakeholder and employer-led initiatives that drive the triple aim goals of better health, better care, and better value. Randa earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication from Indiana State University and her master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
