Every 40 seconds, someone in the US has a heart attack, with many survivors developing complications such as heart failure or stroke. As part of a secondary measure, aspirin is often recommended as a low-cost and effective strategy for reducing the risk of future heart attacks or strokes. This webinar will feature a recent PCORI-funded study that compares the effectiveness of high- vs. low-dose aspirin therapy in reducing cardiac episodes for those who have experienced a prior event.
